Beijing Hyundai has officially filed the IONIQ V with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Positioned as the debut model for the localized IONIQ sub-brand, the IONIQ V is built on the proven E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) but tailored specifically with “Global Quality + Chinese Wisdom” in mind.

Futuristic Design: Led by Hyundai China Design Center

The IONIQ V breaks away from global IONIQ 5/6 styling, featuring a design language led entirely by the Hyundai China Design Center.

Dimensions: A mid-size sedan with a length of 4,900mm, a width of 1,890mm, and a substantial 2,900mm wheelbase.
Aesthetics: The “Dimensional Light Blade” split headlight system and “Dimensional Star Track” taillights give it a sharp, futuristic silhouette.
