Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster
To celebrate its 63rd anniversary, Lamborghini has revealed the Fenomeno Roadster, an ultra-exclusive open-top hybrid supercar. Following the sold-out success of the 30 Fenomeno coupes released in 2025, this Roadster version is even more rare, with only 15 units to be produced globally.
Positioned in the same elite tier as the legendary Reventon and Veneno Roadsters, the Fenomeno Roadster represents the pinnacle of Lamborghini’s bespoke engineering.
The “Permanent Open-Top” Concept
Breaking away from traditional designs, the Fenomeno Roadster features no retractable hardtop, no removable panels, and no Targa roof. It is a “permanent open-top” vehicle designed for the purest driving experience.
Aerodynamic Innovations:
- Aggressive Stance: Shortened side windows create a low-slung, predatory profile.
- Airflow Management: A small carbon fiber spoiler on the rear edge of the windshield directs air over the cabin.
- Safety & Style: Dual “humps” behind the headrests serve as both aerodynamic cowlings and roll-over protection.
- Zero Compromise: Despite the open cockpit, Lamborghini claims the Roadster matches the Coupe’s downforce and thermal cooling efficiency, with only a few kilograms of weight gain.
Heritage-Inspired Aesthetics
The launch edition features a striking Blu Cepheus livery accented with Rosso Mars and exposed carbon fiber. This color palette is a dual tribute:
- Bologna Roots: Reflects the red and blue colors of Lamborghini’s home city.
- Historical Icon: Honors the 1968 Miura Roadster, the brand’s first-ever open-top car.
The interior follows a bold Black and Red theme, integrating Lamborghini’s signature Y-shaped elements and high-contrast stitching.

What’s Next for Lamborghini?
While the Fenomeno Roadster caters to elite collectors, Lamborghini is also developing the Temerario Spyder. Unlike the permanent open-top Fenomeno, the Temerario will feature a retractable hardtop and a high-performance Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) V8 powertrain, signaling the brand’s broader shift toward electrification.
