Range Rover SV Ultra
Land Rover has officially unveiled the Range Rover SV Ultra, a vehicle the brand describes as the “pinnacle of luxury and technology.” Launching initially with V8 and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) powertrains, a fully electric (BEV) version is set to debut by the end of 2026.
A Mirror-Like Exterior: Titan Silver Finish
The SV Ultra introduces an exclusive Titan Silver paint, utilizing real aluminum flakes and advanced pigment technology to create a liquid metal, mirror-like texture.
- Exclusive Accents: The grille, fenders, and badges feature Satin Platinum and silver chrome detailing.
- Forged Wheels: It rides on massive 23-inch alloy wheels with Satin Platinum inserts and a redesigned brand centerpiece.
Interior Revolution: Leather-Free Luxury
Land Rover is pushing the boundaries of sustainable luxury. For the first time, the interior features a dual-tone Orchid White and Cinder Grey palette, wrapped entirely in Ultrafabrics™—a high-end, leather-free, and eco-friendly material.
- Exquisite Craftsmanship: The cabin showcases laser-etched mosaic patterns and precision-perforated finishes.
- BASS Seats: The SV-exclusive Body and Soul Seats return, featuring 4 haptic sensors and AI-driven technology that vibrates in sync with the audio for a fully immersive physical-sound experience.
World-First Technology: SV Electrostatic Sound
The highlight of the SV Ultra is the debut of the SV Electrostatic Sound system, a leap forward in automotive audio engineering.
- Ultra-Thin Sensors: The system features 21 ultra-thin (1mm) diaphragm sensors integrated into the headrests and backrests.
- Sustainability: Made from earth-friendly, rare-earth-free recyclable materials.
- Performance: Boasts a response speed 1,000 times faster than traditional speakers while reducing mass and power consumption by 90%.
- Wellness: Combined with the BASS seats, the system offers 6 wellness modes designed to relax or energize passengers through sound and vibration.
Powertrains: From Hybrid to Pure Electric
The Range Rover SV Ultra will cater to all preferences, with the electric future just around the corner:
| Powertrain Type | Engine / Motor | Max Power | Availability |
| P550e PHEV | 3.0T I6 + Electric Motor | 550 hp | Available Now |
| P615 V8 | 4.4T Twin-Turbo V8 | 615 hp | Available Now |
| SV Ultra BEV | Pure Electric | TBD | Late 2026 |
Market Positioning
The SV Ultra is designed for those who find the standard Range Rover too common. By integrating extreme audio tech with a “leather-free” luxury philosophy, Land Rover is directly challenging the likes of the Bentley Bentayga and the upcoming electric Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV.
