Hyper, the premium New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand under GAC Aion, has officially announced that its latest masterpiece, the Hyper S600, will make its public debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. Coinciding with the reveal, the brand will also kick off “blind ordering” for this highly anticipated mid-to-large SUV.
Combining sleek “Mountain and Sea” aesthetics with high-performance electric architecture, the Hyper S600 is designed to challenge the luxury SUV segment.
1. Design: Aerodynamics Meets “H-Style” Identity
The Hyper S600 follows the brand’s sophisticated design language with several standout features:
- “Mountain & Sea” Lighting: The front headlights incorporate the brand’s “H” initial into an abstract, sharp design.
- Dynamic Efficiency: The vehicle features an Active Grille Shutter (AGS) and dual real air ducts, which significantly reduce wind resistance while improving brake cooling efficiency.

To meet diverse driving needs, Hyper offers the S600 with two distinct powertrain options:
Pure Electric (BEV) Version
- Output: Single motor delivering a maximum of 250 kW.
- Battery: Choice of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) or Ternary Lithium batteries.
- Range: Exceptional performance with a pure electric range of 660 km or 800 km, catering to long-distance travelers.
Extended Range (EREV) Version
- Engine: A 1.5T turbocharged range extender with 118 kW power.
- Pure Electric Range: 170 km to 180 km, perfect for daily urban commuting without using a drop of gasoline.
- Capability: Combines the smoothness of an EV with the total freedom of a traditional hybrid for cross-country trips.
4. Performance Hardware
Beyond the lights and motors, the Hyper S600 is built for driving pleasure. It comes equipped with front dual-piston fixed calipers, ensuring superior stopping power for a vehicle of its size.
