GAC Trumpchi has officially announced that its latest mid-size MPV, the Xiangwang E8 PHEV, will make its global debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show on April 24th. Coinciding with its reveal, the brand will also kick off the “blind ordering” phase for eager customers.
Positioned as a premium yet family-oriented plug-in hybrid, the E8 PHEV combines long-range efficiency with advanced intelligent driving hardware, including integrated Lidar.

The Xiangwang E8 PHEV introduces a fresh visual identity for GAC’s MPV lineup:
- Front Fascia: Featuring a “Star Ring” through-type light bar and a sleek closed grille, the front end exudes a high-tech, minimalist vibe.
- Sporty Accents: A trapezoidal lower air intake with horizontal chrome trim and side air curtains adds a youthful, energetic touch to the vehicle’s stature.
