XPENG Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng recently confirmed that the brand’s new “Tech Flagship SUV,” the XPENG GX, will officially hit the market on May 20, 2026. Built on the advanced SEPA 3.0 Physical AI Architecture, the GX aims to redefine luxury and intelligence in the large SUV segment with a pre-sale price starting at 399,800 RMB.

Versatile Power: BEV and EREV Options

The XPENG GX offers buyers the flexibility of two powertrain configurations, catering to both long-distance travelers and urban commuters.

1. Extended Range Version (EREV)

Engine: 1.5T range extender (110 kW).
Dual-Motor Drive: Front 160 kW / Rear 210 kW.
Electric Range: 320 km, ideal for daily fuel-free driving.

2. Battery Electric Version (BEV)

Dual-Motor Drive: Front 160 kW / Rear 270 kW.
Range Options (CLTC): 635km, 665km, 720km, and a flagship 750km range.
Top Speed: 200 km/h for both versions.
