BYD’s premium brand, Denza, is set to expand its flagship Z9 lineup. According to the latest filing from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the all-new Denza Z9S will feature high-capacity battery packs and cutting-edge tri-motor technology, aiming for a late 2026 market launch.
Record-Breaking Range: 920km on a Single Charge
The Denza Z9S is designed for long-distance luxury travel. Both the single-motor and tri-motor versions will be equipped with a massive 102.326 kWh battery pack.
Depending on the powertrain configuration, the range figures are impressive:
- Rear-Wheel Drive (Single Motor): Achieves a peak CLTC range of 920 km.
- AWD (Tri-Motor Performance): Delivers a robust CLTC range of 780 km.

The Z9S will offer two distinct driving experiences, headlined by BYD’s advanced e³ (e-Sanfang) technology, which allows for independent control of three motors.
