Changan Qiyuan Q07 price hike
Changan Qiyuan has officially announced a price adjustment for specific trims of its Q07 LiDAR Edition. Citing the sharp rise in global automotive-grade chip costs, the brand will increase the official guidance price by 3,000 RMB (approx. $420) for models produced starting May 7, 2026.
New Pricing Structure (H2):
The price hike specifically targets three high-end trims equipped with advanced LiDAR technology. Vehicles manufactured before May 7, 2026, will remain at their original pricing.

The Changan Qiyuan Q07 LiDAR Edition is a tech-heavy SUV designed for semi-autonomous navigation. Its “Tianshu” intelligent driving suite includes:
- LiDAR Sensor: 1 high-precision LiDAR unit for enhanced environment sensing.
- Computing Power: Powered by the Horizon Robotics Journey 6M (J6M) chip, delivering 128 TOPS of computing power.
- Capabilities: The system supports advanced driver assistance in both urban and highway environments, including navigation on autopilot features.
Performance & Powertrain: Blue Core 3.0 (H2)
The Q07 is equipped with Changan’s latest Smart Blue Core 3.0 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system. Depending on the configuration, it offers two powertrain options:
- System Output: 275 kW or 237 kW combined power.
- Efficiency: WLTC fuel consumption as low as 4.98L/100km (depleted battery).
- Range: A pure electric range of 215 km (CLTC), making it ideal for daily commuting.
- Charging: High-speed charging capability, reaching 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes.
- Acceleration: 0-100 km/h in approximately 7.57 seconds.
Market Insight (H3):
The price adjustment reflects a broader trend in the EV industry where advanced silicon costs are pressuring manufacturer margins. Despite the small increase, the Q07 remains one of the most competitively priced SUVs in the Chinese market to offer a full LiDAR and 128 TOPS computing package.
