The 2026 Beijing Auto Show, themed “Leading the Era, Smart Future,” is set to be the ultimate battleground for Level 3 autonomous driving. With 12 heavy-hitting models priced between $30,000 and $85,000 (200k–600k RMB), the competition has shifted from horsepower to “computing power.”
The “Top-Tier” Contenders:
- Xpeng GX: The powerhouse of the show. It features four in-house Turing chips delivering 3,000 TOPS of compute and the world’s first mass-produced Bosch steer-by-wire system. (Pre-sale: ~$55,000).
- Stelato Z7/Z7T: Huawei’s rising star. Standardized with ADS 4.1 and 896-line LiDAR, it recorded over 25,000 pre-orders in just 24 hours.
- Luxeed V9: Huawei HIMA’s first flagship MPV, equipped with the TuLing chassis and 896-line LiDAR.
The “Flagship 9” Series:
- Li Auto L9 Livis: Upgraded with 4 LiDARs and dual “Mach 100” chips (2560 TOPS).
- Nio ES9: A 5.3-meter giant featuring Nio’s Shenji chip and the industry-leading battery swap ecosystem.
- AITO M9 (New Gen): Debuting a world-first 6-LiDAR solution and fully active suspension.
