Li Auto L9 Livis
Li Auto’s CEO, Li Xiang, has officially shared groundbreaking performance data for the Li Auto L9 Livis ahead of its launch. Positioned as the brand’s most advanced Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV), the L9 Livis is priced at 559,800 RMB and is scheduled for official market entry and delivery on May 15, 2026.
Power & Efficiency: The 5C Battery Revolution
The L9 Livis introduces a massive leap in charging and endurance. Equipped with the latest 5C Range-Extender Battery Pack, it offers:
- Battery Capacity: 72.7 kWh.
- Charging Speed: Peak charging power of 420 kW.
- EV Range: 420 km (CLTC).
- Combined Range: A staggering 1,650 km (CLTC).
The vehicle features a next-generation 1.5T range extender that operates with significantly lower noise levels. Its fuel consumption has dropped by nearly 20% to 6.3L/100km (WLTC), and maintenance intervals for the engine have been extended to 3 years or 30,000 km. To support this tech, Li Auto plans to deploy 8,300 5C supercharging piles across China by the end of 2026.
Intelligence: 2560 TOPS and Mach 100 Chips
Safety and autonomous driving reach a new pinnacle in the L9 Livis. The hardware suite includes:
- LiDAR: 4 high-precision LiDAR units.
- Processing Power: Dual self-developed 5nm Mach 100 chips.
- Computing Capacity: A total of 2560 TOPS, enabling ultra-responsive AI driving capabilities.
Chassis Technology: 800V Independent Active Suspension
The L9 Livis debuts an 800V Fully Independent Active Suspension system. Each wheel can be adjusted independently, effectively eliminating “brake dive” and body roll during cornering. Furthermore, the full drive-by-wire chassis integrates:
- Four-wheel steering: Reducing the turning radius of this 5.2-meter SUV to just 5.4 meters.
- Electronic Mechanical Brake (EMB): In extreme cases, the system can safely stop the vehicle using only a single wheel’s braking power.
Exterior & Interior: Refined Luxury
Measuring 5255mm in length with a 3125mm wheelbase, the L9 Livis enhances its premium feel through meticulous design updates:
- Visuals: Triple-color “Star Ring” lights, ADB Matrix headlights, and UWB radar integration.
- Cockpit: The previous dual-screen setup is replaced by a massive seamless single display. The ceiling-mounted rear screen now moves forward and backward to optimize viewing distance for different rows.
- Comfort: The interior features diamond-quilted leather seats, real wood trim, and “Livis” embroidered headrests with integrated side-mounted speakers.
- Privacy: Second-row windows feature three-level adjustable tinting (electrochromic glass) for ultimate passenger privacy.
